Tech Mentor | Entrepreneur | Co-Founder, Allied Africa | IT Engineer
Teghen Victor T. is a Telecommunication and Information Systems Technologist with an enthusiastic drive for Tech4Dev (Technology for Development). As a Telecoms Technician and Certified IT Systems Technologist, he has a passion for both coaching and educating young persons in the technology and strategic entrepreneurial management domains.
With more than 10 years in the tech community and more than 4 in the Entrepreneurship Development environment, he has trailed huge successes in training, coaching and raising successful young entrepreneurs, conceiving and implementing projects. With a deep understanding of the clearly identifiable role of technology in catalyzing development at both personal, corporate and community levels, he has identified basic tech skills, careers and programs that transform individuals and communities, enabling and empowering them to scale productivity and performance. To this end, he has pioneered teams in drawing training programs and projects in IT Training and implementation of IT projects both in and out of Cameroon.
Before his role as Co-Founder of ALLIED Africa, which is an Education and Tech4Dev Social Enterprise, he has studied and worked in as Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and Kenya, worked as IT Administrator, Technician and IT Unit Manager at a state university and other major institutions.
In the past two decades, he has trained more than 1,000 youths in Technology based projects, programs and careers. He has also counseled/coached more than 320 young entrepreneurs in the IT and Business industry with remarkable successes.
At the Boris Bison Youth Empowerment Business Incubator, Teghen is a resilient, resourceful and results oriented technology mentor.
